Plans.

So I didn't follow through with yesterday's plan. Haha. I wore this outfit instead:

The dress was thrifted too, like most of my stuff. But I love it. Perfect for the summer heat. Which is most definitely a good thing, given the fact that uni was terribly hot this afternoon.

My cousin gave me these darling cream lace stockings. The shoes are actually a much brighter red in person.

Colour me lonely.

Well, this is what I plan to wear tomorrow. A funky tie dyed top and a white mini. I haven't decided what shoes to wear yet.

This lovely little white A/X mini skirt is perfect in every way. This was thrifted too. I got it for around 75 Philippine Pesos, which is around a dollar fifty. And it was in very good condition too! Thrift steal. Yes, I know.

The skirt has gorgeous gold stitching and buttons accents. Nothing too gaudy. Just enough to make it interesting.

The top is a tie dyed cropped hoodie. I love this thing 'cause its cloth is just perfect for summer! Light and thin, but not overly see-through. Plus, the colours are really nice. They're actually a little brighter in person. A thrift steal too.

A nice little detail about the top is this tie. I can wear it as tight or as loose as I want to to be.

This's just the outfit I plan to wear. I adore planning outfits but I rarely follow through. Haha. A lot of times, I'll end up wearing a whole different outfit. But I think I'll follow through with this. Maybe. Haha

New Shoes!

These shoes are KILLERS. I love them. I'm not used to heels this high, though, so I hope I don't kill myself with these. Haha.

Neutrals.

Okay. So I've been buying a heck load of stuff from the thrift shops around town. And it's a sin that I haven't been posting them here yet. But, you know, life happens. Anyway, so here's what I wore to school today:

Yeah, It seems like I'm in love with neutrals today.

I was planning on wearing a cream lace top but this vintage off-shoulder mesh top fit with my beige/camel tiered suede shorts (total thrift shop steal) better. My photos do them no justice but they rock. Inside the mesh top, I wore a thrifted cream cami with darling eyelet straps and neck trimming.

I always wear these bracelets. A leather cord, and two agsam bracelets.

As soon as I saw these pair of shorts (beige/camel tiered suede shorts) on the rack, I couldn't let them go. They feel glorious and are pretty well-made. They're in excellent condition too! It's like they've never been worn. And at 120 Philippine Pesos (roughly $2.5), this is a total steal. Total. Steal.

And, again, I wore my vintage oxfords. With brown calf-length socks.

I really loved today's look. The shoes, the socks, and the shorts made it seem so dressy, but the top balanced it out and made it more casual. Perfect for school. Perfect for the hot weather too.

Happy day.

Drifting softly in the summer heat

It's so effin' hot these days. I wanted to dress in something light and airy. And I love my outfit today. So light and airy and soft and feminine.

(I apologise for the sucky photos. I'm really not in the mood to even try and fix them up.)

I'm stock full of thrift finds today.
Top: White cotton racer back tank (thrifted)
Skirt: Soft pink pleated chiffon skirt (thrifted). This skirt used to have a tiered hem but it just wasn't working for me so I cut it off.
Shoes: White Anna Sui boots (thrifted)
Accessories: Swatch skeleton watch, Leather cord, woven bangle (from a store that sells local/ethnic products)

Blueberrybells

Hello! Here I am! See, see? I'm alive!

Just got the results of my French exam: 71/73! Yes! Considering that I slept through every minute of the night before my exam, this score rocks! Haha.

Anyway, this's the outfit I wore today:

Top: Thrifted.

Skirt: I don't actually remember where I bought it.

Shoes: Pop Culture, Trinoma.

Accessories: Blue argyle socks from meh dad, blue mushroom earrings from a small random store, Swatch skeleton watch, leather cord from a shop at school, turquoise necklace is a gift from my aunt, turquoise bracelet (actually a necklace) thrifted.

Fashion Shoot Updates

I'm planning on posting more Fashion Photos soon. I've already got a lot of outfits in mind so stay tuned! I'll be featuring a lot of fun and pretty pieces that I think are great for summer. If you wanna see specific looks - like day looks, night looks, school looks, office looks, beach/pool looks, etc - just leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do. ;D

I get a lot of my stuff from thrift shops, sales, etc. I tell ya, there're a lot of great stuff in thrift shops; you just have to be patient enough to look.

Warm hands.

We were holding hands. It was supposed to be a simple impersonal gesture.
We were holding hands. His hands were warm.
We were holding hands. His hand started to clasp my hand tighter, closer. It was supposed to be simple impersonal gesture, us holding hands. But when he started holding my hand tighter, it changed into something more, into the butterflies-in-my-stomach kind of thing.
I liked holding his hand.

b&w

Black, white, and a teeny tiny little bit of blue.

My sister is my dress-up doll. I wish I had a non-kid sized dress-up doll. @.@

On Alex:

Top: I layered a white tank with the eyelet collar (from Betty, SM Department Store) with the black sequined net tank top (from Press & Bastyan, Thrift shop)

Bottom: Denim shorts (from Mossimo)

Shoes: White pumps (from Officine), and the White strappy platform shoes (from Primadonna). The black diamond-patterned fine fishnet socks with lace edging is from, oh shoot, I don't remember the brand, just that I bought it at Landmark, Trinoma.

Hair: I junked her hair with hair cream to make it messy (yes, I love messy hair.) The bejeweled headband I just found lying around the house. The white and black shiny garter headbands are from Nouveau.

Accessories: White Roxy watch, Stud bangle (found lying around the house), Blue lace bracelet (I made it), Turquoise earrings (Greenhills), Black bib necklace (found lying around the house), Black pearl necklace (my mum's), Turquoise pendant necklace (from my aunt)

Note: When I say that a piece was just found around the house, I usually mean that I forgot where it's from. :p

Happy Hippy Summer! 2

Alright. These days, I'm really digging the earthy boho styles. I'm also hooked on lacy romantic styles. Browns, beiges, creams, light pinks, florals, olive greens, lace, tulle, and golds are what I'm in love with. And of course wild colours. I absolutely love wild colours this summer.

Anyway. On Alex:

Dress: A floral little number I got at a flea market. I tweaked it a little to make it, in my opinion, a bit better.

Shoes: Brown faux leather shooties (from Landmark, Trinoma)

Hair: A rich brown suede headband and a pair of sparkly bronze headbands (both from Nouveau). I messed up her hair with some hair cream.

Accessories: Gold-lined shell earrings (Greenhills), weaved choker with blue and white china beads (Atin Ito), Peacock feather necklace (50th Avenue, Robinson's Galleria), Star necklace (Greenhills), Weaved bangle (Atin Ito), Leather cord (a shop at school), Bead ring (Greenhills), and the Airplane ring (Girl Shoppe, Pop Culture, Trinoma)

Happy Hippy Summer!

Classes just ended for my little sister. As such, I decided to have some fun with her newfound free time. I dressed her up and forced her to pose. ;D

Summer School

I wanted to wear a new steal I got at the thrift shop I shop at often. So I threw this outfit on. Nothing special. I just wanted to show off that steal I got. Haha.

Top: A white Nafnaf semi-sheer tiered summer dress. A sequined black sheer net tank (my latest thrift shop steal!)

Bottom: Since the white dress is semi-sheer, my undies would show without bottoms. So I put on some shorts that wouldn't peek through the bottom.

Shoes: Brown combat boots (from Pop Culture, Trinoma)

Accessories: White shell necklace (I made it from old earrings), brown gold-lined earrings (from Greenhills), leather cord, Swatch skeleton mechanical watch (LOVE this), and a long pearl necklace (from Greenhills) wrapped around my hair pulled up in a bun.

Summer Romance

Sunday, the 20th. Wore this ensemble to church so I kept things pretty tame. Overall, a very nice outfit. The style's sort of a modern Filipina with a romantic flair.

Hair: I let my hair air-dry with only a bit of mouse on the tips for less bouncy curls and more toned down waves. Some plain hair grips on the side, and that's it.

Top: The white semi-sheer embroidered top is something I got from a thrift shop. It was an awesome, awesome buy. It was a steal! An Aero tank is underneath to keep from showing too much.

Bottom: A mid-calf length light powder pink skirt (from Pop Culture, Trinoma). I call it my pink tutu princess ballerina skirt. :D It's made of a nice shimmery light powder pink cloth that isn't too light and isn't too heavy. It's just perfect and soft and comfortable. It has a layer of delicate powder pink tulle on top that makes is absolutely darling.

Shoes: I donned on an awesome pair of light brown lace-up shooties (from Landmark) to match my belt. The shoes were a steal too! Chic and comfy. Very very walkable. No high heels-related balance problems! It's a right shame they aren't in the photos.

Accessories: A lettered beer cap necklace (from The Bead Shop), a small heart pendant necklace (by me), a light brown waist belt (from a sale somewhere), a brown Victorinox watch, a gold bangle from my mum, and a leather cord (from a little boutique at school).

Yes, no make-up on me. >.<>
